All about GEEZER

GEEZER ...

...is a rock and roll band.	We play rock and roll songs, primarily your favorite tunes from the 60s. Tunes like Mustang Sally and Under My Thumb. Then we throw in some tunes from the 50s, like Shake Rattle and Roll and Tequila. We add in some tunes from the 1970s like Low Rider and Gimme Three Steps, and a few more from the 80s, 90s and 00s. Then we do a few tunes that you might not have heard before. Tunes like I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know and Monkey Time. It's a good mix for dancing, or just enjoying.
...likes to shake the music up.	Sometimes we perform our songs pretty much like you're used to hearing them, and sometimes we change them up a bit, sometimes quite a bit. That's a great thing about live music, it is a shared experience that occurs at a particular point in time and space, and no two performances are exactly the same.
...brings an interesting perspective.	A few GEEZER facts: Three of our band members have music degrees. One has a degree from the Berklee College of Music. (Graduates include John Mayer, Mike Stern, Quincy Jones, Diana Krall and Steve Vai.) One has a degree in music therapy. (GEEZER music can soothe your soul!) One has produced award winning radio and television commercials. One is an attorney. (Oh, well, nobody's perfect. But he can help you with a speeding ticket.) One is a former US Marine and a former US Army Band section leader. One played college baseball on a full scholarship. One is only twenty-some years old. Three have been playing 60s music together since the 60s. Five band members still have their hair.
...has a saxophonist.	It's an interesting and very cool instrument. In fact, few instruments have the capability of being as expressive as a saxophone. We don't need more cowbell, we need more saxophone.
...has two lead guitarists.	It makes us doubly dangerous.
...has five vocalists.	You're not likely to get tired of any one voice, because each vocalist is a featured vocalist.
...has three percussionists.	Obviously, with six total members some are multitasking. It's what we do.
