Our questions... Jimmy B's answers...
What was your favorite childhood television show? The Whirlybirds.
Did the Trix rabbit ever get the Trix? No, but Elmer Fudd almost got the rabbit.
Should he? “Should he?”  Isn’t that rather an ambiguous question?  I suppose there might be an implied subject there.
What about Herb Alpert? He didn’t get any Trix either.
What music do you listen to most? Classic rock and classical music.
The last book you have read? The Deathly Hallows (OK, now everyone knows I like Harry Potter.)
The last movie you have seen? The Da Vinci Code.
The last concert you attended? Brewer and Shipley, “More Tokes for Old Folks” (check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye3ecDYxOkg for a funny U-Tube.)
What about the Redcoats? We beat them in the Revolutionary War, and again in 1812.
What other bands did you play in? Nightriders, Basement Foundation, Terminal Row… come on now, I can’t remember back that far.
Do you remember when you were in the Beatles? Do you remember when you tried to impersonate Chris Farley?
Would you trade places right now with Mick Jagger? No, he’s in better health.
Who would you trade places with? Shouldn’t that be “with whom?”
What do you like about performing in Geezer?  The fact that I can still play.
How long have you played the saxophone? Okay, now I’ve got to do the math?  All answers dealing in years are approximate.  Approximately 45 years.  (7th grade.)
When did you start playing the guitar? 3rd grade.
When did you start playing the electric bass guitar? Seventh grade.
What is your favorite color? Who thought up these questions?  “Tiger beat?”
What’s your favorite vowel? See previous answer.
Tell us about your childhood. I spent a lot of time on a farm in southern Missouri, music took the place of being alone. My parents encouraged all of their kids to play music; we might get refused money to go to the show but got just about any instrument we wanted. Loved band and choir, had a lot of fun in drama classes.  Should I say "when" I showed up at school?
What are some of your earliest musical experiences? Started clarinet in 2nd grade in self-defense. (My older brother also played one).
What is your favorite movie? In Harm's Way.
Who is your favorite rock 'n roll group?  Eagles.
Which instrument do you enjoy playing the most?   Hmmm, tenor sax and bass.
Why do you sometimes wear a kilt? It's my heritage and I'm proud to show it. (In answer to everyone's question: my shoes!)
Have you had any funny experiences playing music?  We don't have enough room here. Every gig with GEEZER qualifies.
What do you want people to know about you? Just accept me as I am, I don't bite.
What do you want people not to know about you? Ha ha, tried to trick me, eh?
What else do you like to do when you're not performing music in GEEZER? Watch old movies and read.
What kind of equipment do you use?  Buescher tenor sax, Takamine acoustic-electric guitar, and a Crate acoustic amp.  Listen up Mozingo, I can do great endor$ement$ for a $light fee.
What are some of your favorite songs to perform?  Stormy Monday, Evil Ways, Sweet Home Alabama, anything with a cowbell.
